Passport to Vermont Libraries

Love libraries? Pick up a Passport to Vermont Libraries here at the Richmond Library, and see how many libraries across the state you can visit this summer!

Sponsored by the Vermont Library Association, the 3rd annual Passport to Vermont Libraries program encourages Vermonters and visitors alike to visit some of Vermont’s unique, beautiful and creative libraries.  The Richmond Library is one of 118 Vermont public and academic libraries handing out passports this year.

From now to September 1, participants can get stamps for their passports at all Vermont libraries. Some libraries are offering small prizes, and four patrons statewide–an adult, young adult, child, and one “wild card”–will receive Vermont Library Ambassador Awards for visiting the most libraries.

Not sure where to start your travels? Start with one of the 22 other HomeCard Libraries that will honor your Richmond library card. When you pick up your passport, we can give you a HomeCard directory, too.
