Discussion Group: How to Talk with Kids About Racism

Join a 3-part discussion group sponsored by the Peace and Justice Center on Tuesdays, August 8, 15, and 22 from 6-8 pm at the library. All who are concerned about the impact of racism on our children are welcome. The program is designed to help adults (and young adults) discuss issues of racism with children in a meaningful and age-appropriate way. It includes resources, discussion, and role playing.

Participants are expected to attend all three discussion group sessions. The cost is $75 per person (20% discount for Peace & Justice Center members), but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. People age 24 and younger are not expected to contribute financially. Find out more or register.
