Vermont’s forests provide nesting habitat for a remarkably diverse group of migratory songbirds, but many of these birds are at risk because of habitat loss, climate change, and other threats. Steve Hagenbuch, a conservation biologist at Audubon Vermont, has worked closely with landowners, foresters, and municipalities to promote forest management practices that result in high-quality nesting habitat. Join us to learn more about bird species of conservation priority and this innovative program to help protect them.
