Tippy Helps Young Readers Gain Confidence!

From 3-4 pm on the second Tuesday of each month, the Richmond Free Library will add Tippy the dog to its staff. Tippy specializes in early literacy by encouraging young readers to read out loud to an audience of one (Tippy!). In her role as therapy dog, Tippy lends an adoring and uncritical ear to any reader of any story. Children in grades kindergarten through fourth grade can sign up for a private, ten-minute slot with Tippy–or just drop in. To sign up call 434-3036 or email rfl@gmavt.net.
