JANA BROWN
I am excited to announce my candidacy for Library Trustee at our upcoming Town Meeting Day election on March 6, 2018. I am a passionate supporter of libraries and I would welcome the opportunity to advocate for our town library, promote the use of our library in the community, and contribute to long range planning. The Richmond Free Library is an incredible resource for our town and offers an impressive array of programming. I work for the Children’s Literacy Foundation, a literacy nonprofit serving at-risk, rural, and low-income children and families across Vermont and New Hampshire, and I would bring relevant professional insight to this position. I would appreciate your vote on March 6th! Thank you.

KATE KREIDER
I am running for the position of Library Trustee for Richmond and I would greatly appreciate your vote on Town Meeting Day! My husband and I have lived in Richmond for 5 years with our two children. We love this town and feel very fortunate to be raising our family in such a great community! I am a registered nurse and a stay at home mom. I attend many of the library’s children’s programs with my kids and I would love to do something to support my local community, so running for Library Trustee is the perfect opportunity for me. I feel that having an outside perspective on some of the library programs and having a professional background that requires strong organizational, management, and communication skills makes me a great candidate for the position. My goal is to use the trustee position to support the library, promote the library programs, and make changes or improvements when appropriate to better serve the community. The Richmond Library is a wonderful resource and I hope to be able to play an active role in keeping it that way! Thank you for your consideration.
