Papermaking with Plants Workshop

Friday, September 10, 3-5 pm
Richmond Free Library (on the lawn)

Join the library and artist Emma Percy to learn to transform raw plant fibers into handmade paper, following a hands-on process that is many centuries old. We will work with locally harvested plants such as nettles and cornhusks to make pulp, and everyone will make several sheets of paper to use on their future creative endeavors.

Free. Registration required. Limited to 18 participants. This is an adult program; interested teens are also welcome. Program will be held outside (no masks required); however, in case of inclement weather, we will use the library’s Community Room and ask folks to mask up.

This workshop is now FULL. To be added to the waitlist, fill out this form: https://forms.gle/QKvrDTSDcCxnYhhd9
