Outdoor Arts and Crafts (Duck Tape Piggy Banks): Turn an ordinary container into your own one-of-a-kind piggy bank. Please register in advance for this program for kids ages 5-10 by calling or emailing the library at  434-3036/rfl@gmavt.net. The program will move inside if the day is wet on Wednesday, July 6 at 11 am.

STEAM Fun Under the Sun (The Plastic Problem:): More than one million seabirds die from plastic pollution every year. Learn more about this problem and how to repurpose “single-use” plastic bags into plastic rope that can be used for a variety of projects–from bracelets to reusable bags.Please register in advance for this program for kids ages 5-10 by calling or emailing the library at 434-3036/rfl@gmavt.net. We will gather on the Library Lawn unless rain pushes us inside on Thursday, July 7, 1:00 pm 

Secret Message Scavenger Hunt: Pick up your secret message decoding sheet any time you’re in the library and hunt for the letters on the walls and amongst the books.  Once you know the secret message, deliver it to the youth desk on the second floor and receive a prize.

StoryWalk® A StoryWalk is an outdoor reading experience that reveals a story page by page as the reader follows the StoryWalk route. There will be a new StoryWalk set up around the library grounds each month this summer. The July book will be Maisy Goes on Vacation by Lucy Cousins.
