Richmond Free Library now offers a portable table-top telescope for checkout with your library card! Our Orion Starblast 4.5” Reflecting Telescope was purchased through the Vermont Astronomical Society, which supports libraries by setting up these special telescopes and offering training and repairs.

How to Borrow:
Richmond cardholders may place a hold in our online catalog or stop in to check it out for a period of up to 7 days. The telescope is not renewable and a late fee of $5 per day will be assessed.
Borrowers must be 18 or older and sign our Telescope Lending Agreement.
